How to join us

Eligibility to join?

We welcome new members from Service and ex-Service charities and Organisations, who are working for the Armed Forces Community.  The COBSEO Constitution states that “Membership of COBSEO shall be open to all those organisations whose purpose is to promote and further the welfare and general interests of Service and Ex-Service men and women and their dependants.”

Other organisations are considered at the discretion of the COBSEO Executive.

Apply for membership

If you would like to be considered for membership please complete the Application Form and return it to the Secretary.

Membership costs

COBSEO is only able to function through the support of its members as well as the leadership of its Chairman and Executive Committee. Administrative overheads are kept to a minimum and sufficient financial backing is required from members in order for COBSEO to carry out its work.

To be all-inclusive, our current membership fee is £50 per annum, but members also are asked, according to their means, to consider contributing more than the fee.

The COBSEO Charter

All new members of COBSEO are required to sign up to our charter as a condition of joining COBSEO. Click here to download the COBSEO charter.
