Team RAFBF Spitfire, a sailing team of serving and former RAF personnel, are leading the J80 class at Cowes Week. The team, who achieved ninth place at the recent J80 world championships in Dartmouth, are also sailing in memory of former team mate Flight Lieutenant Hywel Poole, who was tragically killed when his Tornado jet crashed in July.

On 1st August 2012, during the height of the London Olympics, members of the RAF SAR Force at RAF Valley embarked upon a 24 hour static cycling challenge to raise money for the RAF Benevolent Fund, The Forces Children’s Trust and the local Anglesey ‘Hospice at Home’ Charity.

Two technicians from RAF Benson are taking on a motorsport challenge to raise money for the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund (RAFBF), the RAF’s leading welfare charity.
