The Council of the Lord Kitchener National Memorial Fund offers for competition a variety of educational Scholarships for those reading for their first degree.

Support Offered
Up to a maximum of 25 scholarships tenable from October each year. The Scholarships are available for the sons and daughters of those serving, or have served in the British Armed Services and intend to read for their first degree.
From time to time, Scholarships are also available for application from serving members, under the age of 30, who wish to study for their first degree.
In addition, if funding permits, Scholarships to INSEAD, for those studying for an MBA, may also become available.
All Scholarships are awarded after competition interview and only in the year the degree course starts.
Naval Families Federation
The NFF offers an independent voice to Royal Naval and Royal Marines personnel and ALL members of their extended family. The NFF can provide support and guidance on day to day issues that occur as a result of being part of a Naval Service family. The NFF has direct access to the Chain of Command, the MOD and the Government. The organisation ensures that the unique challenges faced by Naval Service families are considered in the ‘purple arena’ and when policies are reviewed.

Anyone whose life is directly affected by the fact that a family member is serving in the RAF is entitled to be represented by the RAF FF. Respective partner, spouse, children, parents and close relatives by blood/marriage/civil partnership are all included.
