Since 2013 Sussex Prisoners’ Families has reached into the criminal courts, prisons and communities of Sussex to connect prisoners’ families to emotional support, practical advice and to each other.

Our friendly community outreach team can meet you to offer practical advice about visiting or contacting prisons and understanding the criminal justice system.
We can help you at court to understand how the court system works and explain procedures.
We run an informal monthly group when families come together to share experiences and connect with our team and with others in a similar situation.
We run regular (free) activity days for families and children.
