SSAFA – Individual Giving Officer

37.5 hours per week

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Individual Giving Officer in the Fundraising Department at SSAFA, the UK’s oldest national tri-service military charity.

About the role

We are seeking a creative and dynamic individual to manage the individual donor retention, development and supporter journeys and manage the creative and production processes of direct mail to supporters, as well as development of in-memoriam giving. You will help to build relationships with supporters and ensure they receive appropriate and where possible, more personalised communications and engagement opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to make a difference and contribute towards ensuring SSAFA can continue to support those who call on our help.

Requirements

To carry out this role successfully you will have:

  • Experience of managing direct marketing and diverse workload.
  • Ability to write creative and compelling direct mail copy, with great attention to detail.
  • Experience of working in charity sector.
  • Great communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and have a flexible approach.
