A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the board of trustees at SSAFA, the UK’s oldest national tri-service military charity.
About the role
We are looking for a committed and motivated person with experience of clinical governance to join our board of trustees.
This is a volunteer role which receives no remuneration, but out-of-pocket expenses including travel can be reimbursed. All trustees are required to be aware of and maintain a strict code of confidentiality at all times and agree to adhere to our Volunteer policy.
Requirements
Ideally, the Health and Social Care Advisor Trustee will have worked in a social care, welfare, medical, nursing, clinical or other health-related field with an involvement in or knowledge of clinical governance and social care.
You will also have successful experience of operating at board level in a charitable, public sector or commercial organisation.
A standard DBS check will be required for this post.
