The Confederation of Service Charities exists for the benefit of its members. We welcome applications from charities and organisations that are working to promote the welfare and general interests of the Armed Forces community.

New applications for membership must be approved by the Executive Board of Cobseo following a subjective assessment. Acceptance is at the discretion of the Executive Committee.

Organisations will qualify for either Full or Associate Membership, dependent on the criteria into which the organisation fits – detailed in Membership Application (Form 1) to which a link is provided below.  Associate members will NOT have the right to vote at the Cobseo AGM.

NB Special additional criteria apply (whether Full or Associate membership is being applied for) if the focus is on clinical treatment or healthcare, or any type of therapeutic intervention. Please read and complete the Cobseo Guiding Principles for Mental Health (Form 2) and if relevant Additional Criteria for Clinical Interventions (Form 3) below. In this case, membership must also be approved by the Cobseo Medical Advisory Committee to Cobseo.
