The Royal Naval Association – Deputy Members Support Officer

***THIS JOB VACANCY HAS NOW CLOSED***

About the Royal Naval Association

The RNA is a rank-free membership organisation primarily for serving and former serving RN personnel who are proud of their Naval Service.  With our central tenets of Unity, Loyalty, Patriotism and Comradeship and most importantly fun, we seek to maintain the naval ethos and enjoy sharing experiences with like-minded people while supporting each other when needed. The RNA was established in 1950 and was recognised with a Royal Charter in 1954.

With Covid hopefully behind us, the RNA is seeking to relaunch next year to make it accessible and attractive to a wider cross section of the Naval Family.  I need a dynamic, personable, enthusiastic, good humoured naval type with good communication skills and willing to roll his/her sleeves up if necessary, to assist me to achieve a mid-life capability update for the Association.  Would ideally suit a gutsy SUY/Warrant Officer or SR on retirement who, should he/she cut him/herself, the liquid oozing out is more likely to be blue than red!

The Deputy Members Support Manager (DMSO) is part of a small management team reporting into the General Secretary (CEO) working in Central Office in Portsmouth Naval Base.
