Falklands Ride of Respect 2025

This is the 7th consecutive year of the Falklands Ride of Respect.

The aim of the Ride of Respect is to visit every gravesite & memorial around the UK of those killed in action during the 1982 Falklands Conflict to pay respects, honour the fallen and in remembrance of everyone, who never came home to their loved ones.

To date the fundraising event which is organised annually by Major (Retd) Paul Moore RE, Airborne Forces Riders, has raised thousands of pounds for The South Atlantic Medal Association (SAMA 82), a veteran’s charity which Supports veterans of the 1982 Falklands Conflict.

The motorcycle ride will again be held in 15 separate regions around the UK over the weekend of 7/8 June 2025. Area schedule is as follows.

  • Region/Area Ride 1 Scotland (East Coast)
  • Region/Area Ride 2 Scotland (West Coast)
  • Region/Area Ride 3 Northern Ireland
  • Region/Area Ride 4 North East & Yorkshire
  • Region/Area Ride 5 Liverpool & Manchester
  • Region/Area Ride 6 Derbyshire & Midlands
  • Region/Area Ride 7 Wales (North)
  • Region/Area Ride 7a Wales (South)
  • Region/Area Ride 7b Wales (West)
  • Region/Area Ride 8 Great Yarmouth
  • Region/Area Ride 9 Kent & Essex
  • Region/Area Ride 10 Wiltshire & Dorset
  • Region/Area Ride 11 Hampshire (North)
  • Region/Area Ride 11a Hampshire (South)
  • Region/Area Ride 12 Plymouth

Our friends in the Falkland Islands will also hold their own ride in November.

In 2024, at the vast majority of locations the motorcycle teams were very warmly welcomed by family members of those killed in action and fellow veterans who served with the fallen. It is hoped that this will be the case again this year and anyone who wishes to attend can do so.
