Haig Housing is pleased to announce the award of a further £60,000 from the Government’s Capital Grant Supplementary Fund through the good offices of the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust.
This is in addition to the £1M already awarded under the main fund and a previous £75k awarded towards the refurbishment of RN/RM and RAF kitchens and bathrooms. The supplementary grant will be used towards the fitting out of a new Veterans’ Community Centre that forms part of the development of 29 new homes for Veterans on Haig Housing’s largest estate in Morden, southwest London.
