Combat Stress Learning: Destigmatizing Mental Health Workshop run by Médecins Sans Frontières

Combat Stress Learning: Destigmatizing Mental Health Workshop run by Médecins Sans Frontières

Date: 13 February 2026

Time: 10:00-12:30

We are delighted to host Médecins Sans Frontières for this workshop about Destigmatizing Mental Health. This 2.5-hour session is adapted from a two-day, internally developed MSF tool designed to break the stigma around mental health in humanitarian settings. It supports participants to reflect on their beliefs, recognize the impact of stigma, and build empathy and understanding. The workshop encourages practical change and helps create a culture where mental health is recognized, supported, and cared for.

Why attend? To reduce mental health–related stigma and foster an environment where everyone—staff and service users alike—feels safe discussing mental health, offering support, and seeking help.

Objectives: 1. Foster self-awareness 2. Encourage self-reflection 3. Promote behaviour change
