The White Ensign Association (WEA) is a naval charity offering free, independent guidance to serving, reserve and veteran members of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Royal Fleet Auxiliary and their families.
Our knowledgeable and experienced team, with first-hand understanding of the unique circumstances of Naval life, supports individuals at key moments in their lives. We help people navigate Armed Forces Pensions, Civilian Employment, Financial Wellbeing, Armed Forces Compensation and access to Professional Services Advice, enabling them to build a solid present and a confident future.

We meet the Naval community where they are; onboard, on base and online. Through presentations, clinics, webinars and confidential casework, we help thousands each year to take informed next steps with clarity and confidence.
To support this, we transformed our digital delivery, launching an online case management portal for the Naval community and developing our pioneering ‘Career Compass’ platform to help Service leavers explore next steps.
As our work continues to grow in reach and impact, we continue to expand our relationships with employers, professional partners and other charities to ensure support is coordinated and accessible, including for families and Reservists.
We are proud to be part of a collaborative sector that recognises the complexity of life in and beyond Service and continues to adapt in response to changing needs and environments. Working closely with fellow Naval charities helps ensure support remains relevant, responsive and grounded in lived experience.
