Liz Earle MBE Announced as Keynote Speaker for Ladies Lunch 2026 in Hull

Sailors’ Children’s Society and HEY Smile Foundation are delighted to announce that Liz Earle MBE will be the keynote speaker at Ladies Lunch 2026, the region’s standout fundraising event celebrating women and supporting children and communities in crisis.

Taking place on Friday 6 March 2026 at DoubleTree by Hilton Hull, Ladies Lunch will welcome hundreds of guests from across Hull and East Yorkshire for an afternoon of inspiration and celebration ahead of International Women’s Day.

The event is a joint fundraiser between Sailors’ Children’s Society and HEY Smile Foundation, building on the huge success of Ladies Lunch 2025, which raised over £27,300 for the two charities.

Liz Earle MBE is renowned for her lifelong passion for natural health, beauty and wellbeing, alongside her considerable charity work and women’s health campaigning. She is the bestselling author of more than 35 books, a broadcaster, an entrepreneur, and the host of the popular twice-weekly Liz Earle Wellbeing Show podcast.

Her latest book, A Better Second Half (2024), became a Sunday Times No.1 bestseller, offering evidence-based strategies to empower midlife women and support healthy longevity.

Liz Earle MBE said

“I’m absolutely delighted to be joining the Sailors’ Children’s Society and HEY Smile Foundation for Ladies Lunch 2026. Supporting women to feel informed, confident and empowered — particularly around health and wellbeing has been at the heart of my work for decades. Events like this are so important, not only because they bring people together to celebrate women’s achievements, but because they raise vital funds to support children, families and communities when they need it most. I’m really looking forward to spending the afternoon in Hull and being part of such a special occasion.”

Liz’s appearance is generously supported thanks to sponsorship from Gosschalks, Prestige Recruitment and Hinks Insurance, meaning the profits raised on the day will go directly to the two charities.

Natasha Barley, CEO of Sailors’ Children’s Society, said,

“Ladies Lunch has become a standout event in Hull’s calendar not just because it raises vital funds, but because it creates a space where women are celebrated, supported and empowered. With International Women’s Day just around the corner, it feels especially meaningful to welcome someone as inspiring as Liz Earle MBE. Her work in women’s health and wellbeing aligns perfectly with the spirit of this event. We’re incredibly grateful to all our event sponsors Gosschalks, Prestige Recruitment, Hinks Insurance, Golden Thread Events, Hugh Rice Jewellers, who return as the Main Sponsors, and finally CHCP, who we’re delighted to welcome as a new sponsor for 2026.”

Ladies Lunch raises vital income to help both charities continue and expand their work, including support for children and families facing financial hardship, illness, trauma, bereavement and community challenges.

Tessa Wray, Head of Partnerships at HEY Smile Foundation, added

“Ladies Lunch is about people coming together to celebrate the talent, strength and brilliance of women across our region, while raising funds that change lives. Liz Earle is such a powerful voice for women’s wellbeing and confidence, and we are thrilled she will be joining us in Hull. This event is always a highlight of the year, and with the backing of our sponsors, we are proud that every pound raised will go directly to supporting children and communities who need it most.”

Ladies Lunch 2026 is expected to welcome over 500 guests, bringing together businesses, community leaders and supporters from across the region for an unforgettable afternoon.
