“I welcome the alignment of restrictive measure to reflect the domestic abuse protection orders found in the Civil Courts and ensuring that victims of Domestic Abuse and Sexual Harm are given a greater understanding of both their rights and the support available to them with a new Victims Code of Practice.
“However, for all of this to be truly effective then both awareness and training centred on these changes will be key, and SSAFA stands ready to assist with this as and where we can.”
