Army Central Fund launches redesigned website highlighting its funding and impact

The Army Central Fund (ACF) has launched a new website that better reflects its role as an independent grantmaking charity supporting the wellbeing of serving Army personnel and their families.

The redesigned site provides clearer information about ACF’s funding priorities, grant programmes and impact, showcasing how charitable investment contributes to the health, wellbeing, resilience and lived experience of the Army community in the UK and overseas. It also provides greater transparency about the charity’s governance, decision-making and long-term stewardship of its endowment.

Since 1948, the Army Central Fund has supported projects and organisations that improve the lives of serving personnel and their families. Today, the charity works with a wide range of partners across the Armed Forces sector and beyond to address emerging needs and invest in initiatives that make a meaningful difference to Army life, including those focused on health and wellbeing, family and community support, and education, employment and skills.

Visitors can explore information about ACF’s funding themes, grant programmes and strategic partnerships, alongside examples of projects being delivered across the UK and overseas.

Commenting on the launch, Caroline Crewe-Read, Director of the Army Central Fund, said:

“Our new website better reflects who we are today and the role we play in supporting serving Army personnel and their families. As well as making it easier for organisations to understand our funding priorities, it provides a clearer picture of the impact that charitable investment can have across the Army community. We look forward to continuing to work with partners across the Armed Forces sector to help ease the pressures that can accompany Army life.”

The website can be accessed at www.armycentralfund.org.uk.
