As a Veteran Support Officer, you will support former service personnel to move from homelessness towards stability, independence and sustainable accommodation through skilled, person-centred housing related support.
The role is veteran-focused and trauma-informed, recognising the impact of military life, transition, isolation, mental health, substance misuse, debt and disrupted housing, while helping veterans build confidence, resilience and hope for the future.
Car driver preferred with access to a road worthy vehicle and business insurance, but not essential.
Hours – 37.5 hours per week working day shifts including bank holidays and with flexibility for occasional weekends to meet the needs of the service.
Based in Devizes, Wiltshire
Hourly rate – £13.04 rising to £13.46 after probation.
Annual salary – £25,428.00 rising to £26,247.00 after probation.
