RAFAKidz has opened a new nursery to provide affordable and quality childcare to families living on and around RAF Marham in Norfolk.
Located on Elm Road in Upper Marham, RAFAKidz Marham will cater to children aged 3-months to 5-years-old across ten rooms, each designed to fulfil the needs of a particular age group. The nursery will also provide care for children up to the age of 11 before and after school.
Outdoor play is vital for children’s development and each room has access to a dedicated outdoor area where children can play and explore outside.
Josie Mapes, Executive Director of RAFAKidz, said: “We are delighted to join the community at RAF Marham. Our goal is to provide exceptional childcare by offering experiences that are special, unique and child focused. Everyone has been so welcoming and we look forward to working with families and giving their children the best possible experience.”
RAFAKidz Marham joins 22 existing RAFAKidz settings located on or near RAF stations and MOD sites across England, Scotland and Wales.
Created in 2019 by the RAF Association, RAFAKidz is designed to meet the needs of military and civilian families in the communities around RAF stations and MOD sites. RAFAKidz is now the largest provider of early years childcare to the RAF, playing a key role in supporting military families.
RAFAKidz works with children from civilian families but prioritises Service children with the belief that those serving their country should be able to do so knowing their children are in the best possible hands.
