Are you paying the right amount of tax? Could your credit score be better? Which savings option is right for your home deposit? Do you know where to turn for help with debt? These are just some of the everyday financial questions the White Ensign Association will be exploring during Talk Money Week (2–6 November 2026).
At the heart of its campaign is Money Matters Made Clear, a free webinar on 03 November designed to demystify everyday financial matters, highlight useful options and entitlements and help people make more informed decisions. Open to serving personnel, Reservists, veterans and families across the Naval community, the session offers an opportunity to strengthen financial knowledge and confidence.
Financial wellbeing touches almost every aspect of Service life and beyond. From understanding Armed Forces pensions and compensation entitlements to managing everyday finances, navigating civilian employment and accessing professional services, financial considerations run through every area of the White Ensign Association’s (WEA) work.
As a Naval charity providing free, independent guidance across these areas, the WEA is marking Talk Money Week (2–6 November 2026) by encouraging the Naval community to strengthen their financial knowledge, build confidence and take a proactive interest in their financial wellbeing.
Led nationally by the Money and Pensions Service, Talk Money Week encourages people to talk more openly about money, ask questions and make informed financial decisions.
