A curry-and-quiz night is the spice of life for SSAFA

Summer might not have been quite as hot as forecast, but things are heating up as Autumn descends and the now-famous curry-and-quiz nights in Glasgow for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity start over.

Held, as ever, at the legendary Mr Singh’s India on Elderslie Street in Glasgow, the first one of the new season is on Thursday, October 19 at 7.30pm.

Scott Cunningham, Challenge and Community Events Officer for SSAFA in Scotland, says:

It again promises to be an enjoyable evening filled with a quiz that will challenge your knowledge, and a delicious curry to satisfy your taste buds.”

He adds:

To make the evening even more exciting, there’ll be a raffle prize draw and an auction to boost our fundraising efforts. Your support and donations will play a significant role in helping us make a positive impact on the lives of those here in Scotland who have served our country.”

Tickets are £30 per person in a team of four. This includes a four-course meal and donation to SSAFA.
