Anxious Minds is to work with the Beamish Museum

Anxious Minds is proud to announce the launch of a ground-breaking new project in partnership with Beamish Museum in Durham.
This exciting project will support veterans living with dementia, older veterans experiencing memory loss, and their families across the North East.
Working alongside the team at Beamish Museum, Health Care Professionals and staff from the Veteran Recovery College we will use heritage, local history, reminiscence, and shared memories to help veterans reconnect with their past, strengthen family bonds, reduce isolation, and improve wellbeing.
For many veterans, memories of service, community, work, family life, and local history can play a powerful role in helping them feel valued, understood, and connected. This project will create safe, supportive, and meaningful opportunities for veterans and their loved ones to come together, share stories, and be part of something special.
Anxious Minds is honoured to be working with Beamish Museum on this important project, helping to bring history to life for veterans and families across the North East.
