Anxious Minds is proud to announce that we are working in partnership with local businesses to create meaningful employment and training opportunities for veterans and their families across the North East.
Through our dedicated charity job board, www.recruit4good.co.uk, we are helping to connect veterans, their families and the wider community with employers who understand the value, skills and experience that the Armed Forces community can bring to the workplace.
Veterans attending our North East Veteran Recovery Colleges in North Tyneside and County Durham can now access support not only for their mental health and wellbeing, but also for their future. This includes help to explore job opportunities, access education and training, build confidence, develop CVs, prepare for interviews and take positive steps towards employment.
For many veterans, leaving the Armed Forces or facing mental health challenges can make the journey back into work feel overwhelming. At Anxious Minds, we believe recovery is about more than counselling alone. It is about rebuilding confidence, finding purpose, strengthening independence and creating real opportunities for the future.
By working with local businesses, training providers and community partners, we aim to open more doors for veterans and their families, helping them move forward with dignity, hope and the support they deserve.
Together, we can create a North East where veterans are not only supported in recovery, but also given the chance to thrive.
