BFBS

BFBS – Broadcast Engineer

***THIS JOB VACANCY HAS NOW CLOSED***

There is a unique and exciting role at the heart of the technology department at BFBS who are responsible for providing broadcast and entertainment services to the British Forces serving in the UK and across the world. BFBS is looking for a dynamic Broadcast Engineer to be part of a talented team of engineers supporting a live TV studio, a lively news team and a variety of radio services and studios.

This is not a role for people who prefer a predictable routine. BFBS provide broadcast services to a very fluid audience base, who demand and deserve the best, and their requirements are often unpredictable and require to be satisfied quickly.

This is not a role for people who prefer specialising in one part of a broadcast system. BFBS Technology is responsible for broadcast services across the entire broadcast chain, from the microphone and camera through to the audience’s devices, while we don’t expect anybody to be an expert on the entire system on day one, they need to have an interest in it all.

This not a role for people who prefer to tackle one task at a time. There are always multiple projects and programs for work to be managed at BFBS, and we are looking for somebody who can be part of a multi-skilled team to support and deliver BFBS services across the globe.

If you are currently working in an engineering role in broadcast technology support, or similar media industry, and you are looking for a challenge and willing to expand your knowledge across multiple broadcast services, then this maybe the ideal role for you.

Leave the mundane behind, embrace the excitement of working for a dynamic and global broadcaster and apply today.
