BFBS – Service Desk Technician

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Service Desk Technician to join our team at BFBS.

The Service Desk Technician will be a critical member of the Service Delivery Team, ensuring that the Service Desk is operating effectively at the heart of the BFBS. You will be responsible for, and the owner of all calls, incident tickets, service requests and fault alerts. They will perform first line technical and operational support for all Information Technology and Broadcast Engineering issues and requests, across all of BFBS’ technology functions, including Radio, TV and Cinema services.

This is a ‘customer facing, front of house’ role, interfacing between the BFBS organisation and our customers, both internally and externally, and therefore you will excel in a customer focused, service delivery team.

The role is crucial in improving and maintaining the level of service we provide, and the perception of that service to our customers. The post holder will on occasion form part of the ‘out of hours’ support function through a departmental rota.
