BFBStival hits our airwaves this Easter weekend on BFBS Radio

  • Exclusive interview and DJ set from Joel Corry 
  • One-hour special from Rudimental’s DJ Locksmith 

BFBS Radio is bringing the festival vibe this Easter with the return of BFBStival. 

From Ops Breakfast at 4am UKT on Good Friday to 10pm UKT on Easter Monday, BFBS Radio will be airing exclusive DJ sets, great interviews, rockin‘ tunes, classics from the 80s and 90s plus our very own A-Z of music – it promises to be four days you won’t want to miss. 

After the new release of their track ‘Be Somebody’DJ Locksmith, one part of multi-award winners Rudimental, will be joining Hatch & Geere exclusively from the BFBS UK’s Breakfast Show at 1pm UKT on Good Friday. Plus, treating us to a one-hour DJ special which is sure to raise the roof. 

Hot off the release of his new track ‘Bed’ featuring David Guetta, Joel Corry will be joining BFBS Radio on Good Friday at 3:30pm UKT with an exclusive interview, followed by a one-hour DJ set from 6pm UKT.  

Joel had this message to the Forces ahead of the weekend: 

“Massive love from me. Thank you for everything that you’re doing. I hope the music that I’m making is helping you guys and brightening your days up. I’ll carry on putting these bangers out for you! 

What else is happening… 

On Good Fridaydance and R&B will be the focus with BFBS Beats. Playing new music and throwbacks from the 90s to now, alongside our exclusive with Joel Corry and even more DJ sets from our friends at Kiss FM.  

On Easter Saturdayit will be BFBS Edges guitar music line up. Covering genres across the last four decades from rock to metal to indie, with special programmes ‘War & Peace & Rock & Roll’ and ‘RockFest’. 

Take a trip back in time on Easter Sunday with an 80s and 90s fest, where we’ll be playing great music from the eras you loved. Hatch & Geere bring us ‘The Bands’; Rosie Da Costa hosts BFBStival’s ‘Cool Britannia’; Ricky Durkin takes us on a Dance Through the Decades, Mike Howarth has the R&B Greatest Hits and Tim Humphries introduces the best number 1 singles from the 1980’s – definitely a day for nostalgia. 

Then on Easter Monday, we will bring you our A-Z of BFBS music!
