The Finance team are looking for an experienced, highly numerate and organised General Accounts Assistant to support them in undertaking finance tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for creating and updating member records, checking statements, entering invoice information and assisting in daily bank reconciliations as well as reconciling payments on a monthly basis.
You will have a good appreciation of double entry book keeping and accounting concepts, as well as strong analytical skills. With advanced MS Office skills, and knowledge of financial management systems, ideally, Access Dimensions, you will be responsible for raising and entering sales invoices as well as acknowledging payments received, and chasing aged debtors.
