Blind Veterans UK – Fundraising Events Manager


Up to £37,000 per annum (depending on experience)

At Blind Veterans UK we aim to ensure our members have access to the finest quality of services to help them discover life beyond sight loss. To make this possible we are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to play a key role in developing a new national events fundraising strategy to meet the needs of the organisation.

The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Working collaboratively with the Senior Manager – National Events to develop and implement a national events fundraising strategy in order to achieve a healthy ROI
  • Managing, motivating and developing a small team to achieve a step increase in income from national fundraising events
  • Promoting and project managing our portfolio of fundraising events;
  • Assessing all fundraising events for return on investment and growth potential

You must have experience of developing a portfolio of events that deliver at least £350k gross income and possess excellent bespoke challenge events management and marketing events skills. With good line management skills and effective time and project management capability to achieve delivery outcomes, you will also be able to establish new fundraising events with sound knowledge of fundraising compliance and data protection guidelines.
