Blind Veterans UK aims to ensure our members have access to the finest quality of services to help them discover life beyond sight loss. To make this possible, we need to raise funds against targets and we are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to provide fundraising, administrative and event management support to our Legacy team. There will be the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of legacy and tribute marketing programmes including events, direct marketing and supporter care.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with exceptional organisational skills, and have experience of maintaining and updating databases.
You will also have the ability to manage relationships of trust with colleagues, agencies, suppliers and supporters and be able to communicate and handle sensitive issues with ease and sensitivity.
For this role, you will need to have good IT literacy, to include the use of Microsoft Office and database systems and be experienced in working in a fundraising or administrative role. Experience of working in Legacy will be an added advantage.
