Blind Veterans UK supports blind and visually impaired men and women offering a range of services to enable them to retain their independence. We believe that no one who has served their country should battle blindness alone.
We are looking for a resourceful and collaborative Trusts and Special Projects Manager to join us to help maximise Blind Veterans UK’s income for charitable trusts and foundations.
You will have:
- Skills to lead, initiate, build and sustain effective long term relationships with major funders including other military charities, government departments and large foundations.
- Ability to identify capital and special projects within Blind Veterans UK that can be used for major fundraising campaigns and to act as project lead.
- Experience in managing the research function of the wider Partnerships team.
The successful applicant will have excellent research, communication and relationship development skills along with experience of winning successful bids from large scale funders.
