Combat Stress offers free specialist training to all past Positive Pathways Programme grant holders

The Combat Stress Learning community is growing. Over 100 organisations in the armed forces sector are now members and regularly come together to learn about veteran mental health, collaborate and share good practice.

If your organisation was previously an Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust Positive Pathways Programme grant holder, you are entitled to one or more free places on our training programmes, and we strongly encourage you to take advantage of this.

All training has been developed and delivered by the mental health experts at Combat Stress. As well as certificated online courses, you will be able to ask questions and discuss important issues with your peers. You will also be able to join live events throughout the year.

The training topics include:

  • Military Focused Mental Wellbeing
  • Understanding Trauma and PTSD
  • Suicide Prevention
  • Domestic Abuse
  • Safeguarding
  • Trauma Informed Organisations

“I have found the Combat Stress Learning extremely valuable and informative. I would urge anyone in the industry to take part if they haven’t already.” – Defence Medical Welfare Service.

You should have received an email from us in December 2023 inviting you to register.  If you haven’t received this email, please contact us at learning@combatstress.org.uk to sign-up.

We look forward to welcoming you into the learning community,

The Combat Stress Learning Team

P.S. This opportunity is only possible due to the generosity of the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust and is a legacy of the Positive Pathways Programme.
