Combat Stress – Volunteer and Community Fundraising Assistant

Permanent, full time 37.5 hours per week.
Working from our Head Office in Leatherhead, Surrey. KT22 0BX
Salary: Band 4, £19,502 to £22,792 plus dependent on experience plus fringe allowance.

Combat Stress is looking for a highly motivated individual to become part of its fundraising team.  The Volunteer & Community Fundraising Assistant role is to support the Head of Events, Volunteering and Regional Fundraising with the general running of the section, to assist with key areas of administration including data entry, record keeping and letter writing as well as to collate and send fundraising materials upon request.

Another key part of the role will be to liaise with Combat Stress volunteers and assist with the organisation of volunteer and community events such as collections, shows and events.

This role is both challenging and demanding and sits within a busy and fast paced Fundraising team.  The chosen candidate will need to have a strong eye for detail and a visible passion to work within a fundraising environment.

Ideally the candidate would have had experience working within a fundraising department.  The successful individual must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to process, analyse, and interpret data. They will be IT literate and highly organised enabling them to work to tight deadlines.

Combat Stress operate a salary scale which works similarly to the NHS Agenda for Change system.  We enhance the scale by 1.5% and have an appraisal system to support training and development opportunities.
