Finchale to host jobs fair

Employers, support professionals and individuals are being invited to a Jobs Fair at Finchale next month.

The Jobs Fair, hosted by Durham charity Finchale, will see employers and organisations from across the region showcase a range of opportunities.

The Free event will take place at Finchale, Pity Me, DH1 5RX on Wednesday 1st November, between 10am and 2pm.

With more than 20 stands, the event will cover a whole range of sectors including hospitality, care, retail, construction and manufacturing with local opportunities from employers such as Sparta Security, Body Shop, Bluebird Care and many more.

People attending the free Jobs Fair will be able to meet with local employers, find jobs in a broad range of different sectors, get support into work and discover career options. Information on training opportunities will also be available as well as support for those considering self-employment.

Finchale Case Managers will also be on hand to offer support; an opportunity to have a one-to-one with skilled professionals offering advice on CV’s.

Finchale

Finchale is a well-established charity that helps people to gain sustainable employment and progress in work. We provide fully funded, specialist training and employment support working with a range of individuals including those who are unemployed, disabled people, veterans, their families and dependants from across the North East Region. Services include access to audio visual and laptop equipment, Wi-Fi, as well as catering and parking.
