Help for Heroes is calling on the next government to commit to supporting veterans and their families and end the ongoing injustices they face.
With a General Election taking place on Thursday 4 July, the Charity is asking all party leaders to sign the Veterans Pledge, committing to:
- Keep the Office for Veterans’ Affairs, led by a Cabinet attending minister.
- Commission an independent review of the medical discharge process.
- Ensure veterans get the benefits and compensations they deserve.
Members of the public can show their support by joining Help for Heroes in asking the party leaders—and the next Prime Minister—to sign the Veterans Pledge.
