Haig Housing – Corporate Services Director

***THIS JOB VACANCY HAS NOW CLOSED***

Haig Housing is a long-established charity based in Morden, South West London with a presence across the UK. We are the largest veterans housing charity, providing houses for over 1500 veterans and their families. We put people at the centre of everything we do – our beneficiaries and staff. All our employees can expect to experience a professional and friendly working environment where we deliver for those who need us. We are on a journey to become even better and help more people.

We work hard to develop, manage and maintain a range of affordable, quality housing for veterans. To deliver this we hire people who are passionate, committed and proactive in providing quality services and engaging all our stakeholders. We develop our team to be knowledgeable, self-regulating and highly skilled and reward the value they bring to the business

We want to recruit an experienced Corporate Services Director to lead our growing team and take our performance to the next level. Working closely with the Board, CE and senior colleagues, you will lead a broad range of services from our head office in Morden, supporting our teams across the UK; flexible working arrangements apply. Our plans to improve our service to beneficiaries are ambitious, for which we need high calibre staff. This is where you come in: working closely with colleagues to ensure our current services deliver whilst developing new offers. You will bring best practice to Haig, using your experience gained over a wide variety of roles to ensure we are delivering for and with our people. It’s a great place to work; we want you to help us make Haig even better.

This is a very senior position, designed to deliver for our beneficiaries: Armed Forces veterans and their families. We expect you to be a self-starter, able to work on your own initiative and live our values. In return will provide you with a very competitive package which consists of a generous salary, pension, good holiday allowance, healthcare and life insurance.

Applications by CV and covering letter of no more than two pages to humanresources@haighousing.org.uk by the closing date of 31 January 2022. Interviews for those that are shortlisted will be scheduled for February 2022.
