Help for Heroes – Regional Psychological Wellbeing Manager

  1. North & South Based at Tedworth (Wiltshire), and
  2. Catterick (Yorkshire) Recovery Centres with extensive travel.

Help for Heroes, leading Charity for the Armed Forces Community, is seeking to appoint two Regional Psychological Wellbeing Managers to lead the service in the North (Catterick) and South West (Tedworth).

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Psychologist to make a real impact through a specialist service.

These roles are permanent and offer a real opportunity for the right candidate to develop, inspire and lead geographically dispersed teams to deliver first class Psychological Wellbeing services.

We are looking for an experienced clinician with excellent management skills to lead a regional team of BACP Counsellors and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners working across the region.  You will need to demonstrate that you can build a strong, supportive culture of ‘one team’ within your team of mixed clinicians and co-ordinators and provide guidance in appropriate allocation of clinical cases to the regional Teams.

The role reports through to the Head of Psychological Wellbeing and is responsible for providing over-arching support to the designated Help for Heroes Psychological Wellbeing teams, to ensure quality and consistency of clinical service standards and best practice across the centres, ensuring effective, professionally delivered psychological services to our beneficiaries.

We would expect the successful candidate to be a qualified Psychologist with at least 3 years post qualification experience in a clinical setting.  Please refer to Job Description following the link below for further details.
