Legasee Educational Trust Launches New Podcast Series: “The Veterans’ Voice”

The British charity Legasee Educational Trust is proud to announce the launch of its new podcast series, “The Veterans’ Voice,” which starts by delving into the harrowing and heroic experiences of British military veterans during the Normandy campaign of World War Two.

For over 14 years, Legasee has been dedicated to preserving the personal stories of British veterans. Through the unwavering support of volunteer filmmakers, historians, and writers, the charity has amassed a comprehensive archive of filmed interviews that span the past century of military history. “The Veterans’ Voice” brings these invaluable testimonies to the public in an engaging and accessible format.

This first podcast series is comprised of five episodes, each meticulously crafted to take listeners from the initial planning stages through to the culmination of the Normandy campaign—the largest seaborne invasion in history. Featuring firsthand accounts from veterans of the Army, RAF, and Royal Navy, these episodes offer a unique and deeply personal perspective on one of the most significant military operations of World War Two.

Listeners will be transported back in time as veterans share their remarkable stories of bravery, resilience, and sacrifice. Each episode of “The Veterans’ Voice” not only brings history to life but also underscores the human experiences behind these monumental events.

“We are thrilled to launch ‘The Veterans’ Voice’ podcast series,” said Martin Bisiker, the Founder of the Legasee Educational Trust. “This project embodies our mission to preserve and share the stories of those who have served, ensuring that their experiences are never forgotten. We believe listeners will find these episodes both educational and inspiring.”

Supporters of Legasee Educational Trust are encouraged to visit the charity’s Patreon page to learn more about its mission, discover ways to get involved, and gain exclusive early access to veteran interviews before they go live.
