Legion Riders Support Veterans In Dundee

Scottish Veterans Residences were delighted to welcome members of the Royal British Legion Scotland Riders Branch District 3 – Perthshire and Angus to their Rosendael residence in Broughty Ferry on Friday 22 July to receive a £2,600 donation to their funds.

Committed to their ABC principals of Assistance, Benevolence and Support, the 70+ members in the Riders branch are mostly service veterans who help fellow veterans in their local community.

Scottish Veterans Residences provides supported housing for former members of the UK Armed Forces who are homeless or at risk of homelessness at our residences in Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Pictured presenting the cheque is Chris Gray, Riders District Rep. Receiving the cheque on behalf of SVR is Bill Gibb, Rosendael’s oldest resident; accompanied by other RBL riders along with residents and SVR staff.
