Live and let spy – and dine – in Stirling for SSAFA

Take the world’s most popular* fictional secret agent, add a dash of murder mystery mayhem, and top it off with a three-course meal and you have the recipe for a never-to-be-forgotten evening of entertainment and all in a good cause.

The good cause is SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, the secret agent is James Bond, the murder mystery – 007 Live and Let Spy – is presented by The Walking Theatre Company, and the dinner is courtesy of the Stirling Highland Hotel, and it all comes together on Friday, June 28 at 7pm.

The award-winning Walking Theatre Company is an experienced touring and producing theatre and events company that gives theatre performances all over the UK, and overseas for the wider rural community benefit, creating access to excellent theatre in any space.

Productions range from adaptations of Shakespeare to schools’ theatre and from murder-mystery events such as 007 Live and Let Spy to productions based on much-loved British sitcoms such as ‘Allo ‘Allo! and Fawlty Towers.

Tickets for this unforgettable evening are priced at £55 per person or £550 for a table of 10. The price includes dinner, entertainment, and a donation to SSAFA so that it can continue its work in Scotland for veterans and serving personnel – and their families.

To buy tickets, search for “SSAFA 007 Live and Let Spy”.

Dinner jackets – or if being bold, wear a kilt as George Lazenby’s Bond did in O.H.M.S.S. – and vodka martinis (stirred, not shaken) are optional, but guests are requested to leave their .25 Berettas at home.

The Stirling Highland Hotel is on Spittal Street, Stirling, FK8 1DU, and for more information about The Walking Theatre Company, visit its website here.
