Addiction Family Support is the leading UK registered charity supporting people affected by a loved one’s harmful use of alcohol, drugs or gambling. Our Forces Family Support service provides the same tailored support to the Armed Forces community, recognizing the unique pressures that come with Armed Forces life.
We offer emotional and practical support to anyone with a connection to the Armed Forces, including serving personnel, reservists, veterans and family members affected by a loved one’s addiction. Support is delivered through our helpline, one-to-one, couples and group programmes and signposting to additional services where appropriate.
We understand the unique pressures that come with Armed Forces life, and we know that no one should have to face a loved one’s addiction alone. Our aim is simple: to make sure everyone in the Armed Forces community who needs support can find it, feel heard, and know that help is there.
Being a member of Cobseo keeps us connected with other organisations supporting the Armed Forces community, enabling shared learning, and helping to raise awareness of the support available to serving personnel, veterans, and their families.
