Greenpath Ventures is a community charity based at Yarra Farm in Colchester. We provide inclusive gardening, horticultural and nature-based activities that improve mental
and physical wellbeing, reduce social isolation and build stronger community connections.
We support veterans, serving personnel and military families alongside people experiencing mental health challenges, disabilities or disadvantage. Through practical
outdoor activities, volunteering and environmental education, participants develop friendships, confidence and new skills in a welcoming, supportive setting.

Greenpath Ventures provides inclusive horticultural, environmental and nature-based activities that improve wellbeing, reduce isolation and build confidence and practical skills. We have particular experience supporting veterans, serving personnel, military families, people experiencing mental health challenges, disabled people and socially isolated individuals. We work with an established network of military, health and community organisations, including Help for Heroes, SSAFA, the Royal British Legion, Colchester Garrison welfare services, GP social prescribers, Mid and North East Essex Mind, Beacon House and local schools. Where appropriate, we can signpost or refer participants to specialist welfare, housing, mental health, employment and family support services.
