Vacancy for a full time position located in Portsmouth, 36 hours per week.
Initial salary £19k Per Annum.
Here’s who we are: the Naval Families Federation exists to speak up for Naval Service families. We represent their views and experiences to those who make the policies and decisions that affect them. We meet regularly with the Royal Navy’s Chain of Command, Government Ministers, Other Government Departments and other key stakeholders. We also support appropriate and relevant research.
Here’s who we are looking for: a person to respond to enquiries from serving personnel and their families, to advocate on their behalf to resolve issues, and to provide diary support to the CEO. The ideal candidate will be someone who is patient and diplomatic, and enjoys problem solving. An exceptional telephone manner, coupled with strong written and oral communication skills are essential for this post. You will have the ability to build effective relationships in order to advocate on issues affecting Service families, engaging with the Chain of Command and external stakeholders, and working closely with the Federation’s subject area leads.
