The NFA And The Blenheim Art Foundation

Blenheim Art Foundation LogoThe Not Forgotten Association has recently been approached by the Blenheim Art Foundation (BAF) to help with their latest exciting project. Every year the BAF put on a contemporary art exhibition throughout Blenheim Palace and its grounds and have so far hosted several international artists, including Ai Wei Wei and Lawrence Weiner. The 2017 show will consist of works by the American artist Jenny Holzer. Her theme is ‘War’ which is where the NFA comes in.

The Association has been asked by Jenny and the BAF to provide 100 testimonies by those who took part in Gulf 1, the Iraq War and Afghanistan. The individuals who provide these testimonies can be serving or ex-service and from all ranks of The Royal Navy and Royal Marines, The Army, The Royal Air Force and The Merchant Navy.

The Not Forgotten Association is proud to have been approached to take part in this national level exhibition. The project will not only promote the UK’s Armed Forces, but will also raise the profile of the charity which will, in turn, directly benefit those we support.

If you would like to get involved in this exciting venture, or know someone else who might, please e-mail milly@nfassociation.org.
