Operation Freespeech

The Veterans Contact Point, based in Nuneaton, is a well-established and award-winning charity, with satellite centres in Atherstone, Dordon, and soon in Warwick.

We have the pleasure to announce a new, insightful and innovative Project called “Operation Freespeech” which is funded by the Office of Veterans Affairs administered through the Armed Forces Covenant Trust Fund.

This is solely aimed at Veterans who have served in the Gulf, Iraq and Afghanistan wars and offers a multitude of engagement methods, from non-clinical, one-to-one meetings, online video calls and group activities.

It provides an opportunity for individual veterans to benefit from a safe, non-judgemental environment where they can talk feely about their experiences both within these arenas and the problems they face in civilian life.

This project is delivered by a veteran who has seen active service in both Iraq and Afghanistan and believes in the help this project will bring, working in conjunction with the VCP and its partners.

“Sometimes having the support of those that care and understand you can make the world of difference”.
