Who we are

The RAF Association has a clear objective: to help sustain a resilient and empowered RAF community, including serving personnel, RAF veterans and their families. Through our sector leading services, we offer friendship to the isolated and lonely, dedicate casework to support individuals, sheltered housing for those who want to remain proudly independent and childcare to serving personnel on RAF stations. RAFA Housing is an essential element of this, providing sheltered housing to 40 members of the RAF community at a small development of 32 units in Storrington, West Sussex.

We work together to make sure no one is ever left behind, and our Board Members share this vision. We have a long and proud track record of supporting the RAF community, and in supporting veterans and their widows to maintain meaningful connections and sustain independence in later life. To ensure that RAFA Housing, and the community of veterans it serves, continue to thrive we are seeking to appoint a director to sit on the Board of RAFA Housing Limited.

RAFA Housing is a registered provider of social housing and a Co-operative and Community Benefit Society registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under the Co-operative and Community Societies Act 2014.

We are seeking to appoint a new director to the Board, to bring varied viewpoints, skills and experience to support and enhance our work.
