RFEA – Chief Executive (London)

***THIS JOB VACANCY HAS NOW CLOSED***

Closing Date: Friday 13 Jul 2018

Founded in 1885, the RFEA exists to provide life-long, life-changing support, jobs and training opportunities to service leavers and veterans, irrespective of circumstances, rank, length of service, or reason for leaving. We are the leading military employment charity, operating throughout the UK and providing comprehensive support and assistance to help all members of the military community build second careers and find rewarding employment.

Our exceptional CEO is retiring after almost 10 years in post and the Board are seeking a creative, capable and highly motivated individual to lead the Charity in its next stage of development.

The new CEO will lead the implementation of our growth strategy, and the delivery of our existing and new employment programmes. In addition to an awareness of the issues facing those we serve, the role calls for an ability to balance a bold vision with the pragmatics of delivery; you will be someone who has the confidence to develop initiatives and make them happen. The successful applicant will have an outstanding record of operational leadership to deliver high quality services with our £4m annual income and motivate our team of 100 employees, along with a proven ability to initiate high-level relationships and outstanding communication skills. If you have deep empathy with our cause, and think that this sounds like you – then we very much look forward to hearing from you.

Saxton Bampfylde Ltd is acting as an employment agency advisor to the RFEA on this appointment.  For further information about the role, including details about how to apply, please visit www.saxbam.com/appointments using reference UAAAQA.  Alternatively email belinda.beck@saxbam.com or telephone +44 (0)20 7227 0880 (during office hours).
