The Role

The Royal British Legion is looking for an experienced Campaign Manager to join its Individual Giving Fundraising team.

Sitting within the Support Acquisition team, and reporting into the Head of Supporter Acquisition, the Campaign Manager Acquisition will be responsible for developing and delivering The Royal British Legion’s acquisition fundraising programmes to grow the supporter database and secure future income for the charity. Working with the Head of Supporter Acquisition you will develop long-term strategies, budgets and targets.

You will plan and manage acquisition campaigns for a variety of Individual Giving products including cause-led appeals (cash and regular giving), lotteries, raffles and prize-draws. You will have experience using a range of marketing channels including face-to-face (private sites), Direct Response Television, Digital, Payroll Giving, Doordrops, Inserts, Direct Mail, Press Advertising, and Outdoor Advertising.

The successful candidate will have a degree level qualification or equivalent experience, and will have significant experience of planning and managing complex marketing campaigns. You will also have experience of managing suppliers, managing budgets and forecasting, analysing results and using insight to inform strategy and campaign plans, and people management.
