This is an exciting opportunity to join the Royal British Legion as we grow and develop our care services. The Head of Care will be responsible for leading the development of the Legion’s Care services across the UK, consisting of six residential care homes (five with Dementia wings), and a number of Admiral Nurse Services.You will be a senior manager with significant experience in a care environment and hold a nursing and a professional management qualification. You will have a proven track record of leading, implementing and managing change. This should include experience of developing new services including capital programmes. Experience of multi-site management is essential.
The Legion are developing strategic plans to expand our care services, providing a wider range of services to a greater number of the Armed Forces Community. We are developing new care homes, developing additional services connected to our homes, and are expanding our Admiral Nurse services. This is a very exciting time to be joining the Legion.
The successful candidate will based from home or one of our regional offices. However extensive travel across the UK to our care homes and Admiral Nurse Services is required.
