The Role

The Royal British Legion has made big changes. We have become more accessible, easier to reach and now provide a more integrated service for the Armed Forces community. The Royal British Legion has also led the nation in keeping Remembrance since 1921. Now you can lead the Legion in refreshing its National Events for a new century of service.

As Head National Events, you will be tasked with steering The Legion through an exciting period of development and change. The post holder will be required to demonstrate experience of project, people and budget management as well as experience of managing and organising high profile events. Some of the events included in the portfolio are the Festival of the Cenotaph, the Cenotaph parade, and D-Day commemorations.
