Portsmouth, with some travel across the UK

The Royal Naval Benevolent Trust (RNBT) is a charity that provides financial assistance and support to thousands of serving and former Royal Navy and Royal Marines personnel and their families in times of need. The RNBT also provides residential and nursing care to cater for veterans of the service, at two care homes and at a small number of almshouses.
The Chief Executive will play a vital role in shaping The RNBT for the future, providing vision and strategic direction for the Trust in line with its core values and beliefs.
Working closely with the Board of Trustees and a highly motivated team of staff, you will have responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Trust, developing external partnerships, building public profile and impact, ensuring high-quality care in our homes, developing new services and diversifying income streams.
As an ambitious, expanding and dynamic organisation, The RNBT are seeking an engaging strategic senior leader, who has the ability to think long-term and horizon scan. You will demonstrate high levels of personal credibility and act as an ambassador for the organisation, cultivating positive relationships across a broad range of stakeholders and helping to increase the profile and impact of The RNBT nationally.
