The report illustrates the charity’s impact, work and finances over the past year. In this 12-month period, Scottish Veterans Residences provided supporting housing to 246 men and women experiencing homelessness: 86 who successfully moved on to their own tenancies or other supported accommodation, and helped 29 residents back into employment. These statistics underline why we remain committed to delivering quality services for those who have served in the Armed Forces and Merchant Navy.
The report also captures the stories of two former Servicemen: one who is thriving as a resident at Whitefoord House in Edinburgh, and the other who used Bellrock Close in Glasgow as a vital stepping stone to employment and independent living. These are typical examples of the positive impact our charity can have, but we can’t provide these outcomes without the dedication of our staff team and the help of supporters and partners like you.
