Scotty’s Little Soldiers are a £1.5m UK national charity which provides specialist support for bereaved military children and young people (aged 0-25). We’re currently supporting over 600 children and young people and have a long-term goal to be supporting over 1,000 annually by 2030. We will need to grow our income streams to around £3m-£5m to achieve this, and our team from just over 20 to between 30 and 40. We deliver 4 Family Programmes; SMILES, SUPPORT, STRIDES and SPRINGBOARD, which provide a range of emotional and educational support for bereaved military families.

This is a brand new role for an experienced HR Manager to help take the charity to the next level in its development. As our People and Culture Manager you will have accountability for:

Who are you?

I have:

  • At least 5 years experience working in a HR generalist position.
  • Exceptional employment law knowledge
  • Evidence of CPD
  • Experience working in a hybrid or fully remote role

Although not essential I am ideally:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified
  • Experienced in working in a standalone HR position
